Any chance they have a ace up their sleeves?
Like how amd uses Infinity cache, to reduce the amount of memory bandwidth needed by the ram?

Good question! Answer to that is simply "We don't know".

I do know that the GPU can read data in the CPU cache, but the reverse doesn't hold true... And Tegra Orin has a fairly chunky 6MB cache for the 8-core processor, so that bodes well.
The GPU itself has a fairly conservative 4MB of cache.

I guess Nintendo is betting on DLSS, Delta Colour Comrpession and Compute Data Compression to make up the difference... Which should provide bandwidth increases of about 50-70% compared to Switch 1.0 if everything else is kept equal... Still not enough for 1080P as Tegra Orin is doing a LOT more things behind the scenes with Ray Tracing and Tensor operations.

Just need more details before we can get any real idea.
