Honestly I think the biggest winner this generation is the steam deck

Steam Deck, at least in its current iteration, will be lucky to sell as much lifetime as the Vita.

To say its a bigger winner than the Switch which will likely sell more than 10 times as much lifetime is a very strange statement.

Literally every brand won this generation, but Xbox. Nintendo is king, no need to explain their case. Steam kick-started a PC handheld market, that was successful enough to not only make other manufacturers follow suit with Windows devices, but made they WANT to make SteamOS devices. And most importantly, made GAMERS want SteamOS over Windows devices. This is the biggest blow that I have seem to the Windows monopoly, but only time will tell if we are really seeing the status quo starting to change.

And PlayStation, even if they don't sell as many consoles as in the last generation, they already made more money than in the last gen. And most importantly, they cemented their victory over their biggest competitor, and can now even ask $800 for a console and people will pay, because yay, no competition.
