I generally have no problem with asset reuse. I think I might take issue, if it felt like I was literally playing the same game. God of War Ragnarok is no where near that for me. A lot of those areas are greatly expanded or changed. I haven't really played a game that went too far for me.
I wouldn't even mind more asset reuse if it meant games could come out sooner.
I'm not particularly bothered by map reuse. You can make the game feel very different with different mechanics and make a different story.

It's cute for people to look at; and optional for people who don't want to engage in it.
I personally have no interest in it, but I can understand someone else might.
