AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Custom Model Listed By Retailer For $530, Specs Disclosed With Navi 48 GPU Clocked at Almost 3 GHz

So far the price does point to around $479 reference while $530sh AIBs. If the price is legit, it begs the question whether or not Radeon finally got out of rehab after smoking crack with RDNA 3 and is finally bringing some real competition or will a 5070 actually perform close to a 7900XT at 1440p. The reviews should be interesting and if 9070 XT releases in January while 5070 releases in February, Radeon has an entire month where they should have free resign but granted, that would also give Nvidia time to adjust their price accordingly if needed.

AMD fires back at Radeon RX 9070 leaks: performance will be better than reported

Frank really loves to oversell and under-deliver so keep the expectations in check. There were some leaks that pointed it to being slightly faster than 7900GRE where as AMDs own slides show is that it should be closer to 7900XT. So I would keep the 7900XT target in mind regardless of anything else that might get leak/benchmarked until the legit reviews come out.

I am actually surprised that the price leak is kind of becoming true. It was a bit too good to be true, but sometimes miracles happen. But of course, we won't know how good that price is until we get the reviews and see how the card performs. Once we know that, we may be able to say that they're very well priced or if AMD screwed up and they're a rip off at that price.

But who knows, maybe someone at AMD realized that they owed ATI for keeping them alive when the CPU side of the business was losing money left and right and it's letting them selling the new GPUs at a smaller profit margin to give them the chance to grow their marketshare as they wanted and be competitive again.
