Good games that got overshadowed

Shame too. Troika were goated RPG developers and the franchise is finally getting a proper sequel, but talk about a perfect storm of bad timing that ended in the studio getting shutdown. 

Yeah, VtM - Bloodlines is THE example for this (though not their fault, IIRC, Troika had regrets about Valve's support and terms of licensing Source engine for VtM, being directly responsible for buggy state the game launched in).

As for proper sequel - I had high hopes for it, but from what I've seen so far, this sequel can't hold a candle to original.

I find it to be a mix between GTA and AC - and I actually find it more enjoyable than most GTAs (along with Sleeping Dogs and Red Faction: Guerrilla).
