NK is doing very bad right now from all accounts. The Russians have mocked them, and we have gotten multiple negative reports of the north koreans other than that. I think that it will take a supreme effort to get them to perform better, and may not be worth the casualties from Kim's perspective.

This deal that kim made with Putin may fall apart in the coming months.
