Israeli settlers storm West Bank town under military protection

Dozens of Israeli settlers who raided the town of Kifl Haris to perform religious rituals at Islamic shrines have also attacked homes and vehicles there, according to the Wafa news agency. The raid on Kifl Haris, located north of Salfit in the occupied West Bank, took place under the protection of Israeli soldiers, Wafa reported.

Prior to the raid, the soldiers closed the gate to the town, and forced shop owners to shutter their businesses and imposed a curfew there, the agency added.


Israeli soldier injured in West Bank ramming attack

Earlier, we reported the Israeli military said a suspect had been “neutralised” after attacking Israeli forces using a car in the occupied West Bank town of Deir Qaddis, near Ramallah.

The Israeli military has now confirmed that a female soldier was lightly injured in the incident, which it described as a “car bomb attack”.


Israeli forces demolish Palestinian detainee’s home in the West Bank

The Israeli military has stormed the occupied West Bank town of Bal’a, east of Tulkarem, and demolished the home of a Palestinian man accused of carrying out an attack on Israeli forces, according to the Palestinian Information Center.



The outlet identified the Palestinian detainee as Muhammad Talal Abu Yassin, who has been in Israeli custody since January of last year.

Israeli raids have also been reported in other locations in the occupied territory in recent hours, including:

  • The village of Zabuba, west of Jenin
  • The town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem
  • The city of Hebron, where soldiers arrested a wounded 16-year-old


Israeli forces arrest Palestinian in Qalqilya

The Israeli military has stormed the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya and arrested a Palestinian man there, the Palestinian Information Center reports.

In the Palestinian town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, Israeli soldiers have also been filmed playing music as they sing and dance around a large menorah, celebrating the Jewish festival Hanukkah.
