I spent almost 300 hours on PS5 and Xbox combined, so not a purely Nintendo gamer. The best game I played this year is a PS5 exclusive: Astro Bot.
I review a lot of games and, all things being equal, I prefer to play on Switch, due to its portability and screenshot functionality. I also play a lot of indie titles and retro compilations that don't require serious horsepower. Finally, there were just a bunch of attractive Switch console/launch exclusives this year: Pepper Grinder, Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, Natsu-Mon, Bakeru, Echoes of Wisdom, etc.
