These guys left probably more like 3 years ago. 

That article is almost 3 years old, and it already has concept art, and other stuff. They probably left months before that even.

Because now CDPR announced a Witcher game with a female protagonist, and you see, that tweet isn't about caring or being worried with CDPR, it's just more cultural war bs. We can see by the simple existence of this very thread that it got the job done.
