Israel kills at least 27 Palestinians in Gaza since dawn
Just within the past half-hour, five people were killed. More people are missing and trapped under huge piles of rubble.
One in the eastern area of the central part of the Gaza Strip in the Bureij refugee camp in a drone attack on a group of people. He was reported killed right away as he seemed to be hit directly.
Four more in a drone attack in the city of Beit Hanoon in the northern part of the Strip.
The total number of people killed since dawn, in addition to those killed last night in Jabalia, nine members of one family, as well as the other people across the central area, Khan Younis City and Gaza City, has risen to 27 people.
We’re looking at a conservative reading of the figures. It’s people who have arrived at the hospital identified and registered by health officials. There are still many who are unable to be removed from the rubble.
Israeli attack kills pregnant woman in Gaza City
Israeli air strikes are taking place everywhere across the Gaza Strip. A pregnant woman was killed in one of the Israeli air strikes on a residential house in Gaza City. Medics were able to save the baby, but it lost the mother.
Elsewhere, a very famous Palestinian writer [Walaa Jumaa Al-Ifranji] was killed along with her husband [Ahmed Saeed Salama] in an Israeli attack on their home south of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
A baby also died from the cold weather in a makeshift camp in the city of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip.
People have been living in makeshift camps for 14 months moving from one place to another. Their tents are very fragile, they have no tarps, no blankets or winter clothes. The situation is dire on every level across the Gaza Strip.
Death toll rises in Israeli attack on Gaza’s Bureij refugee camp
We reported earlier that a Palestinian man was killed instantly in an Israeli attack on the Bureij refugee camp in the central area of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian news agency Wafa is now reporting that one more person was killed in the attack, which targeted a group of people in the camp.
Israeli forces kill several in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan area
Our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic report that at least three Palestinians, including a child, have been killed and a number of others are injured following an Israeli bombing of a school in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood. The school in western Gaza City housed displaced people.

In the past couple of hours, the Israeli forces targeted a school in Gaza City. At least four Palestinians were killed. Among them is a child, and at least 25 Palestinians have been injured in that attack. The Israel forces targeted a tent that was sheltering a Palestinian family.
Palestinians do not know where to go. They have been targeting different areas all over the Gaza Strip: in schools and hospitals, in residential buildings.
Three Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes near Rafah
Our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting that one person has been killed in an Israeli strike north of Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip. Two others have been killed in Israeli shelling in an area east of Rafah.

At least three people have been killed during an Israeli attack on a tent housing displaced people in Gaza City, the civil defence teams are reporting. A number of Palestinians have also been wounded in the attack.
