I am going to say my number 1 is (along the lines of MM9) a retro Metroid, I'm going to call it Retroid™.
Also:
A new IP from Nintendo for the Hardcore to be released, D:DoC would fit this.
A full AAA JRPGoffering from Square for Wii or PC.
A new Perfect Dark from Rare, I loved 1, I liked Zero (I know noone else did)
Donkey Kong or Kirby 3D Platformer
Banjo and Kazooie that doesn't include machine creation, just platforming. If I want to build machines, I'll go to my garage.
Oh, and don't forget Retroid™
