It's a standalone game set in an alternate version of the elden ring world, from what i've gathered from previews, the start feels like a battle royale because you even drop on like a spectral bird but it's not a battle royale, you can't do pvp, can't damage other players, you're in a shrinking world trying to get loot to kill bosses either solo or doing co-op and it kinda changes on every replay but to what extent we don't know yet
