I wish we had actual reporters doing some real digging, instead of all of us relying 90% of the time on mere tweets from random ppl, who we know next to nothing about.
Either way if it turns out to be true, then I'm happy. I won't shed a tear for a company that labelled an entire platform as pirates and never once apologised for that remark, as well as how they've been treating the platform with shitty DRM, a shitty client no one ever asked for, and shitty dealings with Epic. Top all that off with their dabblings with DEI nonsense and their sex assault charges and negligence of staff puts Ubisoft on the deserved chopping block.
I dislike Tencent, but I dislike Ubisoft even more. They've had the past 15+yrs to learn and course correct, and still they chose not to. Guilmont family be damned for their selfish stupidity.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
