I was also thinking as well because this Russia-Ukraine thread gets enough discussion related to Ukraine-Russia alone but the Israel-Hamas thread is unfortunately lower on the discussion side so opening it up to other events in the same region could boost some more activity towards it, plus I've a feeling Israel is going to be more involved in Syria than Russia moving forward but if you want that thread to stay specific to Israel-Gaza then that's understandable too.
