The entire GPU market is crap. And last generation GPU's have all aged poorly because of a multitude of cost-cutting factors to drive volume and profit margins.
(AMD with a lack of fixed function RT capability and FP4/FP8 dedicated cores), nVidia with VRAM)
I used to buy a high-end GPU for $299 USD (About $450 USD adjusted for inflation today). - That's gone, that kind of coin is Geforce 4060Ti 8GB territory now.
I'm sitting on an RX 6600XT and it does.... Fine, which was funded entirely by selling my Radeon RX 580 during the Crypto boom.
I will need to upgrade next gen whenever that drops.
16 Core processor, 128GB of Ram... And a Radeon 6600XT. /defiant
