Everyone fucking hates him because he terrorised everyone, no group was safe from this mad bastard.

Yeah I doubt he would get any help from Hezbollah either. Their base wasn't happy the last time they played lap dog for Iran to help Assad. And now they are licking their wounds they'll be even more reluctant to 'lend a hand'.

Assad's rule is coming to an end, and nobody will shed any tears.

I hope all these factions can rally long enough behind a common enemy to work together to create a better country with freedom for all. But it could also split up or remain divided. After all Syria is just a French creation, arbitrary borders on a map. (Sykes-Picot Agreement)

Of course, there's a lot of factions, I really hope HTS aren't just talking shit and make a genuine attempt at unity but I remain doubtful even with all their recent displays because the true test will be when they actually have power, plus there's multiple other factions that have to accept unity and then there's ISIS that needs dealing with. Annoyingly, Türkiye will continue to be a primary contributor to destabilising Syria, as they will continue to bomb the Kurds directly and indirectly through the SNA.
