People are just not willing to pay so much money for these consoles. The PS3 has been so high in price for a while,that it's starting to alienate potential customers. The wii benefits partially from a lower price point. $400.00 is still alot for the general consumer; kids,casual,teens,etc. Only the hardcore would buy a PS3 now.
