I think the winner in all this recent activity in Syria is Erdogan. He supports the rebels more than anyone else that I can see.
Not long ago, he purchased S-400 air defense systems from Russia, and the US retaliated by denying him the F-35. This guy is known for playing both sides. What if he sends his S-400 to the US for us to tear them apart and figure out their weaknesses?
Plus, his side in the Syrian Civil War has momentum. Hell, they just captured Aleppo and Damascus is not that far to the south. Definitely worth following this war.
