Paramedics still rushing to retrieve dead, wounded in Nuseirat
Paramedics and Civil Defence crews are still collecting bodies from the streets of Nuseirat refugee camp. The past 24 hours have been very difficult in the northern part of the camp, where the Israeli military operated aggressively, destroying many of the homes and public facilities.
So far, 19 bodies have been collected. But there are still more, according to one of the first responders. Many of the bodies are difficult to reach because they are in areas very close to where the Israeli military is stationed.
In recent hours, Israel’s military has deliberately stopped ambulance and Civil Defence crew from getting to some of the sites where wounded people were still bleeding. Quadcopters chased them, firing live ammunition.
Palestinians who made their way to their homes in Nuseirat talked about the sheer level of destruction inflicted on their homes and public facilities. The military turned entire neighbourhoods into more of a wasteland.

It is the latest attack to kill or injure staff at northern Gaza’s last partially remaining hospital, which Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted and besieged in recent weeks.
Another deadly attack hits Gaza’s Beit Lahiya
Israeli forces have attacked a home in northern Gaza’s Beit Lahiya, killing and wounding a number of people, our colleagues on the ground report. The exact number of casualties was not immediately clear.
The attack comes shortly after an Israeli quadcopter shot and killed a medical official in the nearby Kamal Adwan Hospital.
