Apparently Microsoft may more Developer Direct to February in 2025, Jez basing that on something he heard...
My theory? Switch 2 is being revealed in January and Microsoft don't want that smoke, have to avoid being drowned out by the NintenGods. I'd put a Switch 2 reveal if it's happening in January at around mid January-Late January which is basically Developer Directs timeframe because employees return from the holiday break early January. There's probably no timeframe in January for Microsoft to avoid it.
