I played all halo games for the first time 2 years ago and I had a blast with it. They hold up very well.

My quick take on them, from a guy that never played halo before:

- Halo CE: dated mechanics but loved the plot and characters and the pace of it. I can understand how so many people loved it at that time.

- Halo 2: My least favourite of the originals but the redone graphics on the anniversary edition help a lot. Its like night and day.

- Halo 3: Loved it, the high stakes, action, story, my only problem with it is that some of the story happens ofscreen and I think the plot just moves too fast, sometimes youre just shooting stuff and you dont even know about it.

- Halo Reach: One of the best FPS I ever played. Loved every minute of it. Best soundtrack in the series.

- Halo 4: I dont get the hate, I really liked it, loved the new story introduced, the cliffhanger at the end. My only problem with it is that its a bit repetitive especially the long metal corridors. I also hated the final boss "fight". Loved all the rest.

- Halo 5: Pure shit

How did you play Halo 5? Via GamePass or outright buy it? Because it's not in the Master Chief Collection due to it being a DX12 game and while previous games were all DX11.

I bought it used, physical version, paid something like £10 or something. God that was a bad game. Played on Series X.
