No surprise. Are countries even committed to arrest Putin? I guess he doesn't travel much with his health.

Moscow says ICC warrant decision on Israeli leaders ‘insignificant’ for Russia

Russia has shrugged off the International Criminal Court’s issuing of arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, The Associated Press news agency reports.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that, as Russia does not recognise the court’s jurisdiction, any decision of the ICC was “insignificant”.

Peskov declined to comment on whether the warrants might place pressure on Israel to end its attacks across the Middle East, saying they were “unlikely to help anything”.

“Well, in general, the actions of the ICC are unlikely to help anything. That’s the first thing. And secondly, we don’t see any point in commenting on this in any way, because for us these rulings are insignificant,” he said.

The ICC last year issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and a number of other top Russian officials, accusing them of war crimes in Ukraine.

Moscow, however, considers them “null and void”.

I guess it's something the US and Russia can agree on... War criminals vs international law.
