SONY gutted SONY Japan Studio. Kadokawa or lets be serious, Fromsoftware, could be an awesome replacement assuming they're funded and given the ability to go beyond Soul games. I would love to see more non souls games from them and maybe some ressurections. Here's  my problems:

They tend to make niche products that do not align with what "this" SONY is doing. 

2. Another 3rd party being gobbled up and potentially wipe out. Too many developers being folded after being bought out. 

This could really help SONY out in Japan though, but under "this" SONY, I'm not looking positive on this.

No...  You get FromSoft, you don't make them do anything else...
They are the masters of Soul's type games. LET THEM COOK.

New Elden Ring and your getting 20-30million sales.

Let them do what their good at.


Also Yes.... Acquire will still make games like Tenchi, Way of the samurai, Octopath ect.
Let them do that, why wouldn't Sony want that?

Because they wont sell 10 million+ copies. 

Elden Ring will not do that much on PS consoles alone. 

Why fuck with the recipe? Because over time people will get tired of these games. Having other active IP's to let SOULS games rest every once in awhile would be Ideal.
