It sold 20% more than PS4 Pro did at launch, at more than double the price.
PS4 Pro - 65,194 units at 45,000 yen ($288 USD)
PS5 Pro - 78,086 units at 120,000 yen ($770 USD)
It's almost 3 times as expensive.
Considering its price, I think launch week figures are quite good.
