With soon having the ability to stream your owned games, Play Anywhere is another big part of Xbox’s business model. Especially now with the new marketing campaign. Being able to play on your console, then take your save file with you on the go.
You buy a game, you’ll be able to play it on Console, PC, and mobile. Just a 1 time purchase.
Business model works nicely alongside Game Pass.
