Ooh that's out in 7 days, lol no time yet. I bought it at the start if the Ukraine war, war is still going :(
I'll play it in 1080p. But indeed that kind of high contrast ground cover is very exhausting to look at. Not at all how it looks like in real life. I go for a 20K run couple times a week through terrain that currently looks like that, fall cover (minus the buildings and radiation lol) It's far more overgrown than that but doesn't give me a headache looking at it.
Games don't handle looking toward the sun well at all. Very unrealistic look as the terrain is never that dark with bright highlights when walking towards the sun. There is a lot more ambient light scatter in real life. But perhaps they boosted the contrast here to make it 'pop'
