R2 sits under your index finger though and is a trigger like R2 on the dualsense. R1 sits under your middle finger and is a clicky button like R1 on the dual sense. It never messed me up since I don't use my middle finger on the dual sense and shapes / functionality aligns with the naming.
What I find annoyingly confusing is that x is accept and o cancel in western games, while o is accept and x cancel in Japanese games. And of course X is in a different place on Sony (bottom), Nintendo (top) and MS (left) controllers :/
