It is a "next gen/current gen" exclusive which is important. GTAV already gave PS3/Xbox360 a much necessary injection  near the beginning of their lives, along with dozens of industry shaping titles like COD4.

If all you do is play Fifa, COD, Fortnight etc you technically haven't missed out on your favourite franchises by sticking to last gen consoles so far this gen. Even Sonys biggest exclusives have been on PS4 (GT/Horiszon/GOWR). COD/Assassins Creed/GTA all being next gen exclusives next year will be quite impactful in getting some casuals to upgrade. 

GTAV prevented the Xbox 360/ PS3 to be more down YoY than they already where. I am following this side since 2005.🙂
