What I find irritating in this whole "is it better" discussion is the simple fact that any software has to be recompiled to make best use of the hardware improvements on the PS5 Pro. Any and all games out for the PS5 were compiled with a compiler which has no idea of simd2 instructions, for example (as the PS5 does not support it).
It's not simply "a patch". It's a complete recompile of the code (gpu code, obviously) until we see the best progress on the PS5 Pro. if the compiler still cannot make use of dual issues features, we will still see mainly cosmetic improvements, essentially.
