All the JRPGs you´ve ever played, which one had the best and worst story?

(I can't say I've played many JRPGs even if it is my favourite genre)
Best: Final Fantasy VIII/Final Fantasy IX

(worst is such a harsh word)
Not as good: Dragon Quest VIII. I still like it's story though and enjoy the characters. Although it's simple, that doesn't bother me.
