Just hope this isn't a repeat of WW2 and we watch Hitler 2.0 slowly slaughter an entire country and do nothing about it thinking we'll be fine, I don't even give a fuck if we'll be fine, we should be saving Ukraine simply because it's the right thing to do even before any "will they/won't they invade Baltics next" though Moldova will be next if they don't submit before then.
It just really really feels like, nobody has learnt a thing about WW2, especially America.
I believe Europe can step up if they really tried but will they try...Come on man...We're Europe...We're a collection of some of the most powerful countries in the world...If we're united we are a formidable force. We've defeated Nazis before and we can do it again. Even better this time because it's not fucking half of Europe fighting each other, Lol. We have a common enemy.
Europe needs to get real, we can send Ukraine what they need and yes it will hurt our defences but literally the only country that is a threat to us is Russia who we could defeat in Ukraine and who is more likely to recover faster? Europe or Russia? Definitely Europe. Quite frankly I'd happily give Ukraine ALL of UK's stock of IFVs, MBTs, etc. Then just rebuild it back up over time, who is threatening us?! Who is going to attack UK?! And no, if America starts shit with China but abandons Ukraine then they can deal with that shit themselves.
Europe is our home, not Asia, not Africa, not America. Europe is ours to protect. Europe should be our priority. Even if we sent all our land-based equipment we would still have enough in air force and navy to protect ourselves. We can't even give Ukraine any naval stuff anyway because Türkiye closed the strait so that's not even a consideration.
