Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital a ‘war zone’, warns UNICEF
“The Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza has become a besieged war zone,” UNICEF in the MENA region said in a post on X.
“The last neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) remaining in the north has been damaged in heavy attacks in recent days. In the past year, 4,000 babies have been cut off from lifesaving newborn care because of sustained attacks on the hospitals,” the organisation added.

At least three killed in Israeli attack on southern Gaza’s Khirbet al-Adas
Palestinian media outlets have reported an Israeli drone attack on a group of people near al-Aqqad School in Khirbet al-Adas, north of Rafah city. At least three people were killed in the attack, the reports said.
Palestinians fighting for survival, unaware of US election results
People are striving to find food, they are striving to feed their children – they don’t really know what’s happening with the US election. Since the early hours of the morning, Beit Lahiya has been witnessing Israeli raids – tanks moving in and people being hit while they’re evacuating.
Many believe whoever is going to make it as US president won’t make a very big difference on the ground.
We’re talking about Palestinians, people who have been living more than a year drained, exhausted, homeless, not receiving aid, not receiving food, deprived of all aspects of life. They are not receiving medicine. We are talking about people who have died. We are talking about thousands of Palestinians trapped under the rubble.
The situation in Gaza is indescribable and Palestinians don’t even have access to electricity. They do not have access to the internet. They do not know what is happening. All of the Palestinians here in the Gaza Strip are depressed. They don’t see any way this is going to end.
All that Palestinians care about is someone who is going to bring a ceasefire as soon as possible – because they can’t handle or bear this situation any more.

Video shows girl with burns from Israeli bombing of Gaza’s Nuseirat
Journalist Hatem Hani has shared a graphic video on Instagram showing a six-year-old girl named Razan Muheisen, who was disfigured in Israel’s bombing of a house in central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp. Razan has suffered severe injuries to her face and hands.
The video has been verified by Sanad, Al Jazeera’s fact-checking agency. We did not embed the video because it is disturbing. It is hyperlinked above.
New wave of displacement of families in northern Gaza
Footage verified by Al Jazeera shows a new wave of displacement of families from areas in Beit Lahiya, as the Israeli military continues to bomb and besiege the north of Gaza.
Several videos published by activists and journalists on social media platforms showed families fleeing from the al-Sheema area, west of Beit Lahiya, towards Gaza City, amidst ongoing shelling and gunfire by the Israeli army.
