Israeli attacks kill 2 in Khan Younis, wound 8 in Nuseirat

The Israeli military has killed four people after shelling a house in al-Fukhari town, southeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the Wafa news agency reports.

Four more people were injured in the attack, which struck the Abu Daqqa family home, while rescue crews are searching for survivors under the rubble, according to Wafa.

Eight people – including two women, five children and a man – have also been injured in an Israeli attack on the Zuhud family home in Block C of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The Palestinian Environment Quality Authority says the Israeli army has dropped more than 85,000 tonnes of bombs on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year, according to the Wafa news agency.
