There have been times where he will push back against right wing talking points. I think he's a bit more suggestible than a centrist who's actually an extreme right winger. I feel like this is getting more confusing as I type it. But I feel like there's a whole spectrum of this. I agree, I also don’t watch/listen to his show outside of small clips but I don’t think he’s a partisan hack in the sense of Tucker Carlson. To me, he’s always seemed more like a libertarian type of guy who is interested in conspiracy theories.
He’s also a rich, straight, white guy so the issues affecting the middle class or topics of race, sex and gender don’t directly apply to him and are easy to ignore.
Basically I think he’s an idiot but I don’t he’s some far right goon either.
