curl-6 said: It's no secret that the Xbox Series is in trouble; sales are dwindling, and there seems to be little on the horizon that could boost them. In the recent article on Xbox's sales and revenue, a couple of folks made the claim that the console won't even make it to 40 million; another 12 million units from where it currently stands at 28.17 million. What do you think, will it pass this threshold, or fall short, and why do you think so? |
When has the XBOX not been in trouble??
They've gone from Microsoft taking advantage of the XEON processor wrt to the horrendous pricing that MS required, to the RROD, to the current generation's mediocrity which is at such a point that they will eventually give up and withdraw from selling a console.
The challenge will be how they will get people to use its online service after they pull out. Can they compete against Steam? As with all stories, time will tell.
