Of course the newest console is their priority, it's supposed to make profit. PS5 is already 4 years old, PS6 is already on it's way and PS4 isn't being sold anymore. PS6 not announced, of course, but it's on a design table and Sony is planning it's strategy with PS6. It's possible they already are making launch games for the system. See the problem - the development times and costs are killing the console cycle. 20 years ago you could release your game at launch, have the updated sequel and maybe have the second sequel that's optimised for the hardware. Today a studio has time to develop a game or two each generation and the first one is made without knowing the actual specs of the system.

We already know Sony's management told us that Playstation is supposed to turn into service and it seems Sony's been making Playstation compatible for this one for quite some time. Sony don't seem to fix something that isn't broken and make a 180 degree turn when they're successful. If Sony decides to change during the PS4 era, they spend tha PS5 era to integrate everything so that PS6 can work as a service they intended. 

Where/when did they say PlayStation was turning into a service. what kind of service and how is the PS6 supposed help forward the progression of this service? I'm genuinely very confused I've not heard them say anything about them becoming service based. Also, it's way too early to be talking about the PS6. We need to just focus on the products that actually exist.
