Been saying this, the AI bubble will burst eventually and it's going to be horrific on the industry, companies heavily investing into AI are promising their investors the heavens, ridiculous exaggerations, AI will change the world forever, don't worry, keep investing tens of billions, we're so close to AGI! Eventually investors will get sick of investing tens of billions with little returns for a imaginary future and it sadly won't be only the AI sector which suffers when their chase and promises to change the world forever fall flat on their face.

In this case, can't really blame them, these companies are spending billions upon billions investing into AI but receiving little in returns, investors are being promised glorious things will come, eventually, if they keep on waiting, as these companies pour billions down the drain, now I don't doubt that AI will result in some good things for greedy businesses and some bad things for workers but the sheer scale promise and overhype surrounding AI from these corporations is the thing that will bite them in the ass. Like promising to reach Pluto but only reaching the Moon, Lol.
