Like I keep trying to say, if Sony saw the Switch as a threat to them they wouldn't be releasing Lego Horizon adventures on there, like they aren't releasing it on Xbox or PS4. They clearly don't feel threatened by the Switch. No-one has given me an explanation for this, other than trying to reverse-logic me by using Xbox as an example , even though they have explicitly stated they aren't trying to "out-console" anyone anymore anyway.

The reason, is Lego is doing most of the hard lifting here, and footing the majority of the funding for the game.
They probably just said they need it on the switch for sales.

Again, as I keep trying to say, If it's all because of Lego and not Sony then why is not on Xbone, XBS consoles and PS4? All those consoles are capable of running it, and surely Lego would want the games on the most platforms possible? That's about 200 million consoles sold they are missing out on.

This clearly proves that it was Sony that ultimately decided the platforms it would be on, and for them putting it on Switch was worth it because Switch is no real threat to them. It's a win win for Sony and Lego. I actually find it very strange that people on here think Sony is threatened by a Tegra X1. A chip that is almost 10 years old
