Discovering a way to use nuclear fusion as a sustainable power source by the way would solve pretty much everything. Everyone who’s played SimCity knows this.

Dunno if that claim is accurate but Nuclear Fusion won't solve that, only make it worse.

And the warmer it gets, the more air conditioning, the more waste heat produced.

Heating in winter also contributes of course but that's getting less and less. It's almost November in Southern Ontario and still no real need for heating.
