epicurean said: I liked the first Horizon but I'm tired of the IP now, so I'm a little bummed by the Killzone news. That said,it wasn't an AMAZING game, but I absoletlutely loved the underutilized bolt-gun that I think was in KZ2. Pinning enemies to a wall was just an amazing feeling. |
There is a 2018 Horizon documentary made by noclip. There the team talks about Killzone, the passion for Horizon and also talk about creative fatigue. I get people like what they like but there is no point in going back to something they weren't exited anymore. Horizon is their thing and when you work for so long in something, things like Call of The Mountains and LEGO only refresh the development experience. Personally I think it's pretty cool when a team can keep working in the series they love, not all studios can do the same, most of them shift because of money and not because of love. Horizon is in a position right now where it's doing both for Guerrila and yes Horizon 3 is a reality that they are already making, hard to say if it's going to be the last one but if it will be the last one then sooner than people realize there will be a time when people will miss Horizon and Aloy too.
