Fallout: London Patch 1.02 Released With Over 300 Fixes
https://www.dsogaming.com/patches/fallout-london-patch-1-02-released-with-over-300-fixes/
Team FOLON has released Title Update 1.02 for its DLC-sized fan expansion mod for Fallout 4, Fallout: London. According to the changelog, Patch 1.02 comes with over 300 fixes, tweaks and changes. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Patch 1.02 removes broken LOD clip volumes across the board. This should fix save corruption/save file issues in Islington world, Dump world, IWM World and St pauls world. However, this requires a rework of the LOD in these worldspace. Moreover, it will regenerate Previs and Precombines. This should fix various random/repeatable crashes and previsibility issues.
It’s also worth noting that this update brings over one hundred mesh fixes. Players can expect various improvements to meshes to increase performance and fix precombine crashes. Additionally, they can expect fixes to various collision meshes which will improve gameplay and fix potential crashes.
As said, the amount of fixes is huge. So I won’t waste any more of your time. Fallout: London will automatically update itself to the latest version. Below you can also find its complete changelog, as well as its latest trailer.

This DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Mod brings to the game 100 tracks from the DB, DBZ and DBGT movies
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/this-dragon-ball-sparking-zero-mod-brings-to-the-game-100-tracks-from-the-db-dbz-and-dbgt-movies/
Dragon Ball fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘DaisukeFlo’ has released a mod for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO that brings to it around 100 tracks from the DB, DBZ and DBGT movies.
To be more precise, this mod packs music tracks from the DB, DBZ and DBGT movies, as well as some from Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Kai. In short, this is a must-have mod for all PC players.
Now the good news here is that this mod will not affect the official anime DLC packs. Plus, it does not contain any tracks found in them. As such, by using those official packs and this mod, you’ll get the ultimate music DB treatment.
The mod replaces almost every track in the game, from battle BGM to a nice amount of ambient, mystery and comedical ones. It even replaces the music for the title cards for custom battles.

New Silent Hill 2 Remake Mod removes the fake “hero” light from James & Maria
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/new-silent-hill-2-remake-mod-removes-the-fake-hero-light-from-james-maria/
Some fans were disappointed when Silent Hill 2 Remake came out as James is glowing in the game, something that makes him feel a bit out of place. Well, good news everyone as there is a mod that removes the fake “hero” light from both James and Maria.
But let me explain what’s happening here. You see, Bloober Team has used a fake “hero” light behind James for visibility purposes. From a gameplay perspective, this is a clever move. However, as I said, this fake light makes James and Maria glow in the dark. This can break the game’s overall immersion.
So, if you’re not playing the game in the dark, I suggest staying away from the mod. While it will improve game immersion, it will make it even more difficult to see what’s happening on screen. If, on the other hand, you play the game in the dark, you should use it.
You can download the mod from this link. This mod removes the “hero” light from both James and Maria. There is also another mod that can remove or reduce the “hero” light behind James. So, if you do not care about Maria, you can use that one as it comes with minimal and mid versions of the “hero light” (which look amazing IMO).
>> There’s only one screenshot, for the second mod, and I can barely see sh*t on two of the presets it brings.
The final version of Asylum Reborn, an incredible 4K Texture Pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum, has just been released
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/the-final-version-of-asylum-reborn-an-incredible-4k-texture-pack-for-batman-arkham-asylum-has-just-been-released/
In 2022, modder ‘GPUnity’ released the first version of his 4K Texture Pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum. And earlier today, the modder released the final version of it. This version updates all the game’s textures to 4K. And, as you will see, the result is truly incredible.
To showcase the new 4K textures, GPUnity shared the following video. This video compares the vanilla textures with the new ones. And, similarly to Halk Hogan’s HD Texture Pack for The Witcher 3, this pack is a must for everyone who wants to replay this Batman Arkham game.
Batman: Arkham Asylum came out in 2009. As such, it’s almost 15 years old. So, by today’s standards, its textures look blurry and kind of bad. I mean, just take a look at the video. They look really bad.
And that’s where this HD Texture Pack comes in. By using it, you will be able to enjoy, once again, this classic Batman game. Yes, the controls may feel a bit dated. However, thanks to these new 4K textures, the game can still look great.

This modder's 'final love letter to Dark Souls 2' is a massive mechanical overhaul and just the excuse I needed for a Majula homecoming
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/dark-souls-2-bearer-of-the-curse-mod/
Even before the ascent of Elden Ring, Dark Souls 2 was all too often overlooked—and unjustly maligned, according to the brave, intelligent, and very cool souls who are defending Dark Souls 2 to this day. One of those devoted few, modder AoiYozora, just released what they call "a final love letter" to FromSoft's black sheep sequel: Bearer of the Curse Edition, a "faithful DS2 conversion" mod that refreshes Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin with a suite of mechanical overhauls.
Bearer of the Curse Edition's goal isn't adding new content or entirely redesigning how it plays. Instead, the mod's main focus is on providing quality-of-life mechanical changes to bring Dark Souls 2 more in line with design conventions from later FromSoft games, add convenience, and sand down some of the friction that might've obscured its appeal.

Final Fantasy 7 retranslation mod promises English-speaking players an experience 'as close as possible to that of Japanese-speaking players'
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/final-fantasy-7-retranslation-mod-promises-english-speaking-players-an-experience-as-close-as-possible-to-that-of-japanese-speaking-players/
I never finished Final Fantasy 7. I know there are plenty of people who can forgive the stilted, over-formal oddity of its English translation, but I'm not one of them. Fortunately, there are other people out there who think FF7 deserves better, including the Shinra Archaeology Team. This squad of modders has put together the Shinra Archaeology Cut of Final Fantasy 7, a retranslation mod that just hit 1.0.
This version of FF7 "fixes mistakes in the original English translation; improves tonal accuracy using idiomatic language; and conforms to the localization choices of the Compilation and Remake trilogy where applicable to ensure continuity through the Final Fantasy VII series." Which means if you move on to the excellent Final Fantasy 7 Remake afterward, you won't find it too jarring.
"The aim of this retranslation is to give English players a narrative experience and foundation of lore that is as close as possible to that of Japanese-speaking players", the Shinra Archaeology team says.
As someone trying to sell you a set of Buster Swords on the Home Shopping Network might say, "But wait, there's more!" This mod also has an optional cut-content component that "restores numerous events, maps, animations, and lines of dialogue that were cut from the final release."

Fallout 1 fan-remake taps out just 2 months after it got a meaty demo, but promises it's not because of 'infighting' or Bethesda meddling
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fallout/fallout-1-fan-remake-taps-out-just-2-months-after-it-got-a-meaty-demo-but-promises-its-not-because-of-infighting-or-bethesda-meddling/
It was just the other day that I told PCG writer Ted Litchfield that I want a whole game—Museum of Mechanics: Lockpicking-style—that lets me walk through the ruins of all the doomed fan attempts to remake old games in a modern engine. KOTOR's Apeiron, that Resident Evil 2 redo, innumerable attempts to remake GoldenEye without attracting Nintendo's baleful gaze: They all went the way of the Dodo, lost to time.
Alas, there's one more for the pile. Fallout: Vault 13 was a fan project that sought to rebuild the original Fallout 1 in the hi-res, first-person skin of Fallout 4, but now it's pretty much dead. It actually looked like it was moving along pretty well. Just two months ago it got a demo showing off some of the game's early areas that was very well-received. Not, generally, the kind of thing you expect of a project just a month or two away from throwing in the towel.
But that's exactly what it's done. In a message on Discord, Fallout: Vault 13 co-lead culinwino posted: "We have decided to officially suspend development on Fallout: Vault 13. This was not an easy decision, but we believe it is the right step at this stage of our journey. I know this may come as unexpected news, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment it may cause."

Pokemon Legends Arceus & Pokemon BDSP PC builds have been leaked and cracked
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/pokemon-legends-arceus-pokemon-bdsp-pc-builds-have-been-leaked-and-cracked/
Last week, Pokemon developer Game Freak was attacked by hackers. The hackers who got into Game Freak’s servers obtained unreleased PC builds of two Pokemon games. And, from the looks of it, these PC builds have already been cracked and they are playable on PCs.
Now for those who are wondering, each and every studio creates a PC dev build for their games. Devs use these PC builds to test various things. However, the existence of those PC builds does not mean that the games will come out on PC. That’s not how things work. So no. Nintendo was never planning to bring its Pokemon games on PC.
