The biggest noticeable difference is going to be with games that have a low resolution and then get upscaled vs games that already run at a decent resolution and then get upscaled. As DF mentioned before, Sonys first party games are generally well made which a pretty good render resolution to begin with. So the differences are not as easily noticeable unless pointed out.

But a lot of third party games are coming out with low resolution if you want 60fps. FFXVI ran at 720p on PS5. Alan wake 2 ran 864p and the list goes on. Those ones will show a big difference that should be pretty easy to distinguish for most people. Not to say I think it's worth the $700 price tag tho lol.

As for the comparison at hand, it's fairly expected. Nvidia started the Ai upscaling trend back in the Turing days and I am glad to see others starting to utilize it and going away from traditional upscalers like FSR which has been yikes. It will be interesting to see if Switch 2 will use DLSS or not and if so, whether or not Nintendo will have their own version or will just use the one from Nvidia.
