Just to be clear, I'm not saying I didn't support the ban when it was issued, I just wasn't there for the ban, Lol. What I'm saying is that if it genuinely was a bit of miscommunication then it would be worth respectfully stating your case. It happens, a few bans have been reversed if people respectfully! Explain themselves better than what something first came across as. 

I want to believe that it was just a joke taken the wrong way, Lol. Like I said, at first I really wasn't sure what the hell you was trying to imply, Lol. I too jumped into my first thought thinking "Is he trying to say we only hire gay people/only gay people apply to the team? Is he questioning our professionalism?" and I'd be willing to accept that I was wrong to think that in light of new info, but anyway, lets get back on topic.
