Insider Gaming understands that this is part of Ubisoft’s ramp-up strategy for the Assassin’s Creed series, which will see around 10 Assassin’s Creed titles of various lengths and experiences released in the next five years. This includes Assassin’s Creed codename Jade, a fully-fledged mobile offering with a tentative date in Q2 2025 (FYQ1 26).

And Ubisoft's director of monetization has some thoughts on the current situation.

"The gaming industry is rough at the moment, we all know it. But seeing how "gamers" react on social medias, wishing ill-fate to companies and people alike is sad. (And not only towards Ubisoft. Even though it is always the vocal minority that express themselves on social media, I was hurt, hurt and ashamed to be part of this community."

"What is even more revolting, is coming on LinkedIn and seeing the same comments from people within the industry. On top of exposing yourself as a clearly non-decent human being, you are affecting thousands of employees that are already impacted by all the hate despite doing their best to deliver incredible experiences."

"How can you wish a company to fail simply because they do not cater to you or that the produce does not please you is beyond me."

It's kind of disgusting how the director of monetisation dept is so out of touch with reality, that he lacks complete self awareness of what he's saying, let alone his actual position at Ubisoft (a position gamers don't like at all).

Also I remember that time when ubisoft said they were going to let the Creed franchise rest for a bit, but I guess that was just a few years rest and now they're back to spamming the ever loving crap out of it.

Honestly I don't care if Ubi goes under at this point, they refuse to learn and lash out to their customers in such a childish and spiteful manner (Also they called PC gamers pirates and STILL to this day, never apologised for that remark).
