Totally unverified but chatter was he was originally hoping to get UN Ambassador from Biden after dropping out. I thought he would be perfect for that and a good step to Sec of State. Dude speaks 7 languages and served in the military! 

So many Democrats served in the military despite the Republicans painting them as the party of cowards. In Arizona, Democratic senate candidate and Representative Ruben Gallego was a Marine. Republican Kari Lake was a TV talking head who left her old career under dramatic circumstances.

And Trump is probably one of the most disrespectful Presidents in recent history towards servicemen and servicewomen but Trump supporters still pretend to give a fuck about them, Lol.
