Totally unverified but chatter was he was originally hoping to get UN Ambassador from Biden after dropping out. I thought he would be perfect for that and a good step to Sec of State. Dude speaks 7 languages and served in the military!

UN Ambassador would be cool too, I know he served in the military but damn, 7 languages, Lmao. I also read he did his undergraduate on US Foreign Policy. I know SoS or UN Ambassador is less in the spotlight than some other roles but I do think he'd be an amazing asset there, I think he'd be a strong supporter of Ukraine and America's allies and I think he'd be a strong force against certain countries, he is a nice guy but he also doesn't put up with bullshit and he is used to combatting fascist wannabes, he is on Fox News every week (I'm Joking!).

I don't mind Blinken but my understanding is that Blinken will be naturally dumped? I think I read that somewhere that both Blinken and Sullivan will naturally be dropped as a new administration comes in, I'm not really a fan of Jake Sullivan though. After everything Pete has done for Harris campaign, both publicly and privately, I think he deserves to be higher on the ladder, he is such an asset to the Democrat Party and deserving of a seat which recognises that, I'm not saying Transport Secretary is a bad seat, it's great, I just want him higher on the ladder, Lol.

Not going to get my hopes up though, I think Harris will keep him where he is, it's just a cool thought in my mind, Lol.
