Well according to my ex-roomie, it was like: "I'd rather stare at something nice, than something boring that doesn't jiggle". I could never understand him, despite me also being a weeb (though he was a hardcore Japanophile, you know, eats with chopsticks, speaks some Japanese phrases, that type of guy).
I only find it distracting if it's a game where it's just the body physics of a character that go all over the place, and nothing else in-game having that level of physics (which is rare to see).
Oh yeah, naked runs on BG3 are a thing. Some folks on a disco server I'm on are a bit like that. I like to dress my characters in style rather than with less clothing.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
