Houthis fire rocket barrage at Israel
Yemen’s Houthi militia says it targeted military posts deep inside Israel with three-winged Quds-5 rockets. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
The group’s military spokesperson Yahya Saree said continued US and UK support for Israel puts interests of these two countries “under fire”.
Houthis claim ‘successful’ rocket strikes on Israel
Earlier we reported Yemen’s Houthis saying they fired projectiles “deep inside” Israel “in support of both the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples”. No confirmation from Israeli officials has been released, however.
“The missiles successfully hit their targets,” said Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree in a statement.
Saree “commended” Iran on its missile barrage launched against Israel on Tuesday. “We will not hesitate to widen our operations against the Israeli enemy or those backing them until the war on Gaza and Lebanon is halted and siege laid to Gaza is lifted.”
