You have a pretty unusual lineup, Bodhesatva. Do you buy a lot of used games, and are still waiting for the price on current-gen titles to drop? Rent a lot of games? I think the games you have listed are good, but not the kind that I would expect to drive gamers to purchase all 3 current-gen consoles.

It's a fair question and I'm aware of the issue. I've found that on both the PS3 and 360 in particular, DL titles have comprised a majority of my favorites (for example, my top 5 games for my PS3 that I own are Stardust, Pixeljunk Monsters, EchoChrome, Shadow of the Colossus and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and only one of those is an actual disc-based game made specifically for the PS3). My console buying decisions have been predicated on a variety of factors, including:

1) I got the PS3 60 GB used for 200 dollars, and works like a charm. I use it frequently, if not majoratively, as a Blu Ray player. Several of my other systems (PSP in particular) I bought at lower-than-average prices either through a sale or through my former job as a Toys R Us employee.

2) I now have a very good job, I'm single with practically no financial responsibilties, so even now as I'm a substantial percentage of my pay check every week I have a great deal of expendable income to spare.

3) I'm an administrator here and have started to do reviews as well. I wanted to own all systems both to expand my viewpoint (and see the "other side" of the argument, as it were) and to allow me to review more titles.
