Microsoft's latest Windows 11 update is reportedly a borkfest that breaks mouse, keyboard, WSL 2 and Wi-Fi functionality

Be afraid of the Windows 11 KB5043145 optional update. Very afraid. For reports are in, claiming that it unleashes a borknado of problems if installed.

According to various sources, including HKEPC and Windows Latest, update KB5043145 for Windows 11 versions 23H2, and 22H2 is causing problems including outright bluescreen crashes, loss of keyboard and mouse functionality, USB ports on the blink, plus WSL 2 and Wi-Fi issues.

Windows Latest says that Microsoft has confirmed it is aware of the problem. However, there is no word on any official remedy, for now. As an optional update, KB5043145 is not supposed to download and install automatically, though some reports indicate that may be happening anyway.

Western Digital Spins off all Flash Products to the SanDisk Brand

Western Digital made a significant change to the way it sells its products, which sees the SanDisk brand return to prominence. The company spun out SanDisk.com as a separate website, with product information, support, and in select regions, online retail, of all its NAND flash-based products, including SSDs, memory cards, USB flash drives, etc. Meanwhile, its main website, WesternDigital.com, now only lists out non-flash products, such as hard disk drives (HDDs), NAS, and other enterprise hardware such as rackmount DAS or NAS.

And it seems that Moore's Law Is Dead latest video or whatever has caused an impression, because there are two articles talking about different parts of it:

AMD's new RDNA 4 gaming-GPU-for-the-masses said to be delayed but will probably still be available before the Nvidia competition
https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/graphics-cards/amds-new-rdna-4-gaming-gpu-for-the-masses-said-to-be-delayed-but-will-probably-still-be-available-before-the-nvidia-competition/
A few weeks ago, we reported it looked like AMD's upcoming RDNA 4 graphics cards could arrive at CES and therefore beat Nvidia's next-gen mainstream GPUs to market, the idea being that RDNA 4 isn't going to compete at the high end and Nvidia traditionally only releases top-end variants of any new GPU family at first.

Well, we have an update, and at first glance it's not the best news. YouTube Channel Moore's Law is Dead (MLID) reports that AMD is delaying RDNA 4. But not because there's any problem with the new graphics architecture itself.

Instead, the reported issue is that AMD and its selling partners still have a glut of existing RDNA 3-based graphics cards to shift. And most of those need to sell first, because the new RDNA 4 cards will make the old stuff look hopelessly overpriced for the performance they give you.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D To Feature Significant Clock Speed Boost
https://www.techpowerup.com/327149/amd-ryzen-7-9800x3d-to-feature-significant-clock-speed-boost
We've known about the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for a good long while now, and previous leaks and rumors indicated that it would offer a rather significant boost in gaming performance thanks to changes to the 3D V-cache amounts and layouts. Now, a new leak, which purports to show off the official retail packaging for the new CPU, suggests that clock speeds will get a boost over the existing AMD Ryzen 7 78000X3D.

Both seem feasible.
